favorites 10/07/12

So according to Addyson her favorites today were going for a walk, riding her bike around the neighborhood, going to Grandma and Grandpa's and playing with Blake's toys. He has a dump truck and backhoe and various other construction type toys which Addy is fascinated with right now.

Her fever is gone (cross your fingers) and her cough is slowly dissipating so she feels like she can do anything and everything again. I hope it sticks.

So even though she's still sick and now has a fever (she's been sick for two weeks) she was still able to have a favorite part of today. It was playing with her phone. She has an old iPod with some coloring and alphabet apps on it. So we snuggled on the couch, after going to the doctor for the fourth time in two weeks, she played on her phone and I read a little.

Our day went like this. First we ran down to Seattle to leave some flowers on my dear friends Cerisa's headstone, it's her birthday. That was tough. Then we stopped by the mall real quick and I mean real quick. Addy was irritable and didn't want to walk so we left and she fell asleep in the car one the way home, which she never ever does. Ever. We got home and I go to get her out of the car and she's a burnin' up. 101.4 quick dose of Tylenol and off to the dr. (They told us to come back if she has a fever. She previously had croup.) The dr says oh she's fine. Unless you get "some mommy senses" that tell you something is different she'll be fine. Addy has never been sick for this long or had a fever this high, I'm stressin' out. I'm so ready for her to be her healthy, normal sweet girl self.

Surprise surprise Addyson's favorite parts of today were watching a movie and riding her bike around the neighborhood twice. She's so great.

So addy was still coughing and went to the doctor and then spent the day with Nana and her favorite part was: blowing bubbles outside at Nana's house!

favorites 10/03/12

So after me asking her many many times she decided her favorite parts of today were: going to Tina's and riding in the green car at the grocery store.

So the grocery store was all good until we got to the car and she threw a fit and I had to call JC to come and help me hold her down to buckle her in. Good times. NOT. I think she was just so tired because she hasn't made a peep since going to bed.

No pic tonight, she was too busy crying her eyes out. 😉

I had to work today so I had no idea what Addy and JC had done but her favorite part of today was: playing inside with her doll named Ted, who is a girl.

Addy's favorite part of today: "eating a carrot outside. "

We went to Costco and she rode her bike around the neighborhood and watched "Angelina Ballerina" and had her favorite meal at Amigos to celebrate her daddy's birthday with the whole family and she drove a race car(video game) with daddy and all she needed was a carrot from her garden. I just love my little hippie.

Addyson's favorite part of today: checking the mail.

Not dance class or a happy meal or Chinese food dinner with family. I think what she really meant was sending the invitations for her birthday party. She's so stinking cute.

new ideas...

Every night at bedtime I ask Addyson what her favorite part of today was, so I'm going to try and document every day. Just a warning, it's probably going to consist of "playing outside" but I think it could be interesting!

Day one: watching football! We went to the Stanwood Spartans football game and she had a blast. We left at half time because it was way past bedtime and (wah wah) we were losing miserably. Now she is snoring in bed peacefully.
